Doctors And Educators Will Be AI Driven For The Next Years Says Bill Gates

Wednesday, April 2, 2025 | 1comments

The anticipation of Artificial Intelligence or AI of the workplace is really at hand as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven society.

According to Bill Gates of Microsoft company, the workplace on the sides of doctors or health and education will be replace by artificial intelligence.

"Bill Gates predicted that advancements in artificial intelligence will significantly reduce humanity's role in many traditional tasks such as medicine and education - and the seismic shift could happen in less than 10 years." (New York Post,Thursday March 27,2025)

"....the Microsoft co-founder described a future where humans are no longer necessary for most things because AI technology will readily perform tasks that currently require specialized human skills.." (New York Post)

Bill Gates also says that artificial intelligence and advancement in technology will sooner or later replace eventually the need for doctors and teachers because of the presence of Artificial Intelligence that would replace the two works.

Dead Man Chatting

Thursday, January 28, 2021 | 0 comments

This post is taken from IZULAT blog repost here.

Microsoft have recently gain patent for a robot that could mimic, imitate or simulate a dead person like voice, image, likeness and other. The robot will gain information from the person it mimics o imitate. It is a conversation or chat robot or software as if one is chatting or talking to a real alive person though that person is already dead. It will enable one to speak or chat to their already deceased or dead loves ones back again as if they are still alive again.

“"The specific person [who the chat bot represents] may correspond to a past or present entity (or a version thereof), such as a friend, a relative, an acquaintance, a celebrity, a fictional character, a historical figure, a random entity, etc.," the patent explains. "The specific person may also correspond to oneself (e.g., the user creating/training the chat bot."” (IGN)

“The artificial program works by analyzing various data sources from dead people such as: images, voice data, social media posts, electronic messages, and other personal information. The program would be able to look at pictures of people and create 2D or 3D images to embody the AI program. Not only loved ones, but the program would also be able to copy fictional characters, celebrities, and historical figures. And if people really wanted to, Microsoft says they will be able to train AI's to copy their own essence in the event of their death.”(Game Rant)

The main point : Microsoft has build a software or robot that mimics the dead person wherein that dead person can be chat or talk with again though in reality that person is already dead.

A Robot Service Delivery Or Robot Delivery Service

Thursday, December 3, 2020 | 0 comments

This post is taken from IZULAT blog repost here

Usually orders are delivered by a person to the doors of those who order something or a thing to business establishment like for example foods like burgers but to other countries the delivery person is not a person but a robot. Yes, a robot is delivering an order to the doors of those who order instead of a person or a delivery man. According to the news, the demand for contactless deliveries rises because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company behind this autonomous delivery service robots is the Starship Technologies.

“The autonomous robots, which can carry up to 20 pounds, could find a new customer base as people seek ways to get groceries and food without having to visit in person. Users place their order via the Starship Deliveries app and drop a pin where they want the delivery sent. The robot’s progress can be watched via an interactive map. Once the robot arrives, users receive an alert, and can then meet and unlock it through the app. The robots, which can cross streets, climb curbs, travel at night and operate in both rain and snow, are monitored remotely by Starship. Human operators can take control of the robots if needed.” (Tech Crunch)

“Starship Technologies robots have completed over 500,000 commercial autonomous deliveries in local neighbourhoods and university campuses across five countries. The retail giant said the most popular items delivered by robot included milk, eggs, bread, bananas and cucumbers.”(BM Magazine)

“Starship Technologies operates commercially on a daily basis around the world. Its robots have completed over 500,000 autonomous deliveries and crossed more than five million streets. The robots move at pedestrian speed and use a combination of sophisticated machine learning, artificial intelligence and sensors to travel on sidewalks and navigate around obstacles. The computer vision-based navigation helps the robots to map their environment to the nearest inch. The robots can cross streets, climb curbs, travel at night and operate in both rain and snow. A team of humans can also monitor their progress remotely and can take control at a moment’s notice.”(Save Mart)

“Starship Technologies is revolutionizing deliveries with autonomous robots. The robots are designed to deliver food, groceries and packages locally in minutes. The delivery robots have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles and met millions of people across 100 cities around the world. They drive autonomously but are monitored by humans who can take control at any time. Starship was founded by two Skype co-founders, Ahti Heinla and Janus Friis. Former AirBnB executive Lex Bayer is CEO.” (Save Mart)

The main point : Robot delivery service have risen a big demand because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the company Starship Technologies is on it which created the robots.

Technology Mistake

Tuesday, November 3, 2020 | 0 comments

The artificial intelligence installed at the soccer place or on Caledonian Stadium have made a mistake on covering the soccer game; it mistakenly identifies the bald head of the referee to be a ball. The fans were angry and disappointed because the technology keep on showing the referee’s bald head instead of the real ball on the game. The commentator has to apologize for it.

“Fans of Scottish football team Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC experienced a new hilarious technological glitch during a match last weekend….”(IFL Science)

“The commentator had to apologise today as the camera kept on mistaking the ball for the linesman’s head... “(IFL Science)

“The AI camera appeared to mistake the man's bald head for the ball for a lot of the match, repeatedly swinging back to follow the linesman instead of the actual game. Many viewers complained they missed their team scoring a goal because the camera "kept thinking the Lino bald head was the ball," and some even suggested the club would have to provide the linesman with a toupe or hat.”(IFL Science)

“…the AI-operated camera continuously follows the linesman's head, particularly struggling as the ball falls down towards the ground near him.”(IFL Science)

Artificial Skin That Seem To Be True

Thursday, September 10, 2020 | 0 comments

A research team at RMIT University on Melbourne Australia has developed an artificial skin or fake skin that can feel and sense like the real human skin.

The artificial skin can sense pain, touch, and heat as the news said and can be a major step forward for improved skin procedures like skin grafting, prosthetics, and putting skins on robots.

“…….electronic skin that can sense touch, pain, and heat.” (Tech Explore)

“Researchers have developed electronic artificial skin that reacts to pain just like real skin, opening the way to better prosthetics, smarter robotics and non-invasive alternatives to skin grafts. The prototype device developed by a team at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, can electronically replicate the way human skin senses pain. The device mimics the body's near-instant feedback response and can react to painful sensations with the same lighting speed that nerve signals travel to the brain.” (Tech Explore)

Game Boy Runs Without Battery

Wednesday, September 9, 2020 | 0 comments

Researchers from the Netherlands have recently developed a device or a game boy that do not rely on battery as power source but runs without it only using the sun and the user’s energy.

The game boy uses the sun’s energy and the user’s energy combined to run the gaming device and make the user or gamer play indefinitely without stopping or recharging. One can play forever.

The gaming device have solar panels around its screen and when the user pushes a button it turns on as a source of power or energy.

The research and development of the gaming device is a first step toward a sustainable gaming system that do not rely on battery.

“Researchers develop first-ever battery-free, energy-harvesting, interactive device…..  A hand-held video game console allowing indefinite gameplay might be a parent's worst nightmare. But this Game Boy is not just a toy. It's a powerful proof-of-concept, developed by researchers at Northwestern University and the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands, that pushes the boundaries of battery-free intermittent computing into the realm of fun and interaction.” (Tech Explore)

“……this device harvests energy from the sun—and the user. These advances enable gaming to last forever without having to stop and recharge the battery….. "It's the first battery-free interactive device that harvests energy from user actions,"…. "When you press a button, the device converts that energy into something that powers your gaming."…” (Tech Explore)

Alcohol-Powered Tiny Robot

Tuesday, August 25, 2020 | 0 comments

Researchers recently invented a tiny robot that resembles the insect beetle thus they call their invention “RoBeetle” which is powered by an alcohol alone without the usual batteries and some source electrical plug or electromagnetic fields as the news said.

It is small yet powerful that it can move or crawl autonomy like the insect beetle compare to some macro robots that rely on batteries and electrical charge.

The alcohol is the methanol alcohol.

“The methanol, stored in a fuel tank that weighs 95 milligrams when full, triggers an energy-releasing chemical reaction with oxygen that warps composite wire muscles to a preprogrammed shape. That twitching of the muscles allows the microrobot to crawl like a beetle. It is still able to move when carrying a cylindrical object weighing 230 milligrams on its horns – 2.6 times the weight of RoBeetle itself, or 1.3 times the weight of Robeetle and its fuel tank.” (New Scientist)

“The methanol-powered muscles used by RoBeetle, an 88-milligram-long microrobot, can use catalytic combustion to reach energy levels up to 20 MJ/kg.” (New Scientist)

“Methanol-powered artificial muscles have been created by researchers aiming to create battery-free robotic limbs and prosthetics.” (New Scientist)

“Robots tend to be powered by batteries and plug sockets. But the RoBeetle is a little different. This insect-size microbot (defined as weighing less than 1 gram) runs on methanol, a type of alcohol commonly found in solvents and antifreeze. Liquid fuels like methanol hold more energy per unit volume than batteries, especially on a small scale. This means methanol-powered microbots don’t require an additional external power source, such as wires or electromagnetic fields. They could therefore theoretically move around with more autonomy than their electrically powered counterparts while retaining their minuscule size.” (Science Mag)

A New Way To Monitor Human Body

Thursday, August 20, 2020 | 0 comments

Scientists are looking for the possibility of putting electronic chips inside the human body as part of new way to diagnose the human body.

The purpose of the electronic chips is to detect or look for possible tumors and defects in the body, according to the news.

But there is a problem scientists are dealing with. That is how to put an electronic chip inside the human body without harming the body without wrecking a havoc on the body.

That is what scientists are now thinking of. If they become successful of solving the problem, they can now put an electronic chips and the human body become like a cyborg that is partly human and partly electronic.
