Just before her 117th birthday on February 11,2021, Lucile
Randon or known as sister Andre a nun in France survive and recovered from
being positive to COVID-19 recently. Sister Andre according to Gerontology
Research Group's (GRG) World Supercentenarian Rankings List is the second
oldest person in the world and Europe’s oldest person; the oldest person in the
world is Kane Tanaka from Japan who turned 118 last January 2,2021.
According to Sister Andre she is not afraid to the disease because she
said she is not afraid to die and happy to be with people but however she wishes
to be with her big brother, grandfather and grandmother.
She contracted the coronavirus last January 16 and according to the news
on Toulon southern France on her retirement home. She is blind.
