McDonald's Plant-Based Burger

McDonald’s according to the news is jumping into the boat of offering a plant-based burger meat on its menu starting next year 2021.McDonald’s is not the first on this kind of burger; there is the Burger King, Del Taco, Carl’s Jr., and others. The plant-based burger patty or the burger is called “McPlant”.

“Fast food giant McDonald's has announced it will introduce a line of plant-based meat alternatives called "McPlant" in 2021.McDonald's said it would offer plant-based burgers, chicken substitutes and breakfast sandwiches.”(BBC)

“McPlant is crafted exclusively for McDonald’s, by McDonald’s,” said McDonald’s International President Ian Borden in a statement.” (Yahoo Finance)

“"There are other plant-based burgers out there, but the McPlant delivers our iconic taste in a sink-your-teeth-in (and wipe-your-mouth) kind of sandwich," McDonald's said in a blog post Monday.
