Three Weapons For Apocalypse

Highlights : Bad events could come either from us or from others from our ignorant-arrogant mind,that is mistakes actually.

Duqilai Dictionary : Apocalypse - Great disastrous events which causes great fear and loss of society and economy and economic status.

The word "Apocalypse" is famously associated with religion that teaches doomsday and end-time,particularly the Christian religion,but however the word is not solely for religious usage and vocabulary or dictionary.

Apoclypse ! Apocalypse ! - Yes,these happens long ago ; World War I,World War II,Civil Wars,and other minor and major wars or battles.

But however,apocalypse happens again because of repeated mistakes that resulted into repeated history of apocalypse.Repeated apocalypse happens because of the following :

(1) Ignorance-Arrogance (Not Keen and Smart) - it start with ignorance-arrogance of what one might endeavor though one have visions about it.

(2) Mistake - an error and detour to disaster from the supposed predetermined destination of the plan.

(3) Not Learning but repeating the mistake or repeat history,repeat 1,2,3 - not keen why the path detour from the supposed destination or predetermined destination into not suppose plan destination.

Not keen,- that is,arrogance and ignorance rules still,thus repeated history.

Thus,apocalypse happens because of the three above in small and big endeavors; world wars could be aborted thus,but made to because of or deliberate.

" (1) Atomic Bomb (1945)
        15 kilotons

        THREAT - used in 1945 against Japan,such bombs are now held by eight states,within reach of
        20 more,and are sought by terrorists and criminals.

        TECHNOLOGY - the mechanism works by forcing two "subcritical" masses of HEU together,or violently compressing a spherical mass of HEU or plutonium to start an uncontrolled fission reaction.

        DAMAGE - a Hiroshima-size bomb would level down-town D.C.killing tens of thousands of people.

(2) Hydrogen Bomb (1952)
      300 kilotons

      THREAT - First tested by the U.S. in 1952 and the Soviets a year later,such weapons are held by the majority of today's nuclear powers.

       TECHNOLOGY - Heating and compressing hydrogen isotopes with the radiation from a small atomic bomb triggers a powerful fusion reaction.

       DAMAGE - All living things within several miles of ground zero would likely be engulfed in a firestorm.

        Total dead : hundreds of thousands.

(3) Suitcase Bomb (Present)
      0.1 kiloton

      THREAT - capable of being precisely targeted and delivered by truck,boat,or suitcase,these weapons are easily concealed,and thus the most worrisome.

      TECHNOLOGY - Triggered by miniaturized electronics,a  35-pound nuclear device would deliver the explosive power of 100 tons of TNT.

       DAMAGE - Blast and radiation would flatten buildings and kill people within a few hundred yards,and do billions of dollars' worth of damage."
